Thank you for 2007. Now for 2008.

The Justice Project would like to thank everyone involved in the 2007 campaigns: "Thank you"!

TJP is currently reflecting on the evolving Australian political situation and exploring various projects and campaigns for 2008 and beyond.  We expect this to take the next couple of months.  We'll e-mail everyone on our e-mail lists with the news, as well as update this site.

You can join our e-mail list here.
More information on the 2007 campaigns can be found here.

Welcome to the Justice Project

"The ability to understand ... the ability to put yourself in somebody else's shoes .. that's human rights."

It seems so simple.
It is not a difficult, nor a new idea.
We want every Australian to recognise with our heads what we know in our hearts.

We want to restore the Australian tradition of "a fair go" to every aspect of Australian public life ... this means proper protection of human rights.

Every Australian would be appalled for a loved one to be locked away indefinitely in a remote and isolated environment - for no reason other than wanting freedom, or even life. Why can't we recognise this is just what we are doing to others who are fleeing the tyranny or war in their own, undoubtedly beloved, country.

More than just an economy

Are you interested in another side of this election campaign?

TJP is deeply concerned about short term material values adopted by sections of the community and the lack of political leadership offering broader and longer vision.

Our youngest Board member, Jessie Taylor writes on this topic in her blog. To visit Jess' blog click here.
