A London based European organization, ENIAR was formed in May 1998 from the Australian and European based work of individuals and organizations committed to human rights and social justice for indigenous Australians. ENIAR aims to * Promote awareness on indigenous issues and also to provide information for Indigenous Australians about Europe and international organizations. * Maintain an up to date website, relevant to indigenous and non-indigenous people * Organize awareness raising events and actions * Lobby decision makers to end discrimination and injustice * Support Indigenous delegations to Europe * Raise the issue of British responsibility towards Indigenous Australians * Highlight abuses of indigenous rights in Australia This website includes detailed information and news indexes on indigenous Australian issues. Oxfam Australia- Indigenous Australia

This site has comprehensive information and statistics on indigenous income, unemployment, imprisonment, child protection, health and wellbeing, life expectancy and education. Oxfam also has a current campaign on ‘Closing the Gap’, in which they are calling on the Australian governments to take action to achieve health equality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders within 25 years.

HREOC Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice

Published by HREOC, this section of their website addresses social justice issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. It includes in depth information and reports on various areas such as family violence, native titles and community guides. The website also includes links to media releases, statements and speeches regarding justice within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Reconciliation Australia

Established in 2000, Reconciliation Australia is the peak national organization aimed at building and promoting reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians. The website includes current ‘Action Plans’ for reconciliation, various projects being undertaken, and information on how to get involved in reconciliation, resources, speeches, publications and statistics. The website also contains substantial information on the 1967 Referendum relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

Australia Bureau of Statistics- Indigenous

This is the official site for ABS statistics on indigenous Australians. The website contains statistics on the health and welfare of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, population and population distribution, housing and population characteristics.

Action for Aboriginal Rights

This website, bearing in mind that it has not been updated since mid-2006, contains basic information on indigenous issues facing Australia. It includes links, funding information for indigenous students, information on indigenous health and answers to FAQs relating to Aboriginal history, deaths in custody and land rights. It also includes information on how to take action for Aboriginal rights and various open letters to the Australian Government.
