TJP Submissions to Joint Standing Committee on Migration PDF Print E-mail
TJP recently provided submissions to The Joint Standing Committee on Migration's inquiry into immigration detention.

A summary and copy of the joint submission with the Law Institute of Victoria and Liberty Victoria regarding s.501 of the Migration Act can be found here.

TJP also made a supplementary submission in support of a more humane manner for dealing with Asylum Seekers when there are difficulties in proving identity or questions regarding security risks. This submission can be found here.
