It seems so simple.
It is not a difficult, nor a new idea.
We want every Australian to recognise with our heads what we know in our hearts.

We want to restore the Australian tradition of "a fair go" to every aspect of Australian public life ... this means proper protection of human rights.

Every Australian would be appalled for a loved one to be locked away indefinitely in a remote and isolated environment - for no reason other than wanting freedom, or even life. Why can't we recognise this is just what we are doing to others who are fleeing the tyranny or war in their own, undoubtedly beloved, country.
